Is it true? Another chapter in… the Adventures of Dante!
Prologue
The strongest established school of magic, alive for ages from Graal, made its greatest growth in influence in the age of 2001. The arcane and secretive numbers of magic users grew in size exponentially.
But the discovery of a new kind of power erupted Graal in a torrent of controversy. Although its victims would be many, it would tie together in a battle the most amazing and powerful Graalians known, and be surrounded by the discovery of long unknown secrets.
An artifact, writing scrawled in a plate by an obscure monk named Lyndzey of the order of the god “Knorr,” held an ancient secret. This artifact was discovered by Asuka. In his maniacal violent dreams he envisioned his own plans of deicide, and becoming the almighty God of Graal. And the artifact told him of a secret symbol that contained access to a fraction of the power of God, through a long forgotten act of sorcery. Asuka tapped his finger on the artifact. "Asuka... God of Graal."
Ghost Pirate stood in his cabin. “Harmonious Death Portal!” The spell opened a viewing portal to the world of the dead. Ghost Pirate sat down and held up a channel changer. “I should have known nothing would be on! Well, nonetheless, life isn’t bad as the unrivaled Demon God of Graal. Hahaha! Maybe there’ll be some suffering souls on on a different channel.” He turned the channel and saw a German being swamped with pms. “Haha! That’s suffering if I ever saw it!”
A knock came on the cabin, and Sparkplug stuck in his head. “Hey, Ghost Pirate, I think someone may be trying to rival your power.” Ghost Pirate’s head nearly exploded!
“What?”
Dante’s adventuring group had become small over the years, as the evil in Graal subsided. Sitting with him relaxing in the event house in Bogenera were his friends Fai, Lamer, and Wing. Lamer made a weird face. “Yikes! I sense some weird thing has been discovered!”
Wing looked at him inquisitively. “hm?”
Lamer looked at Dante. “Dante! You must protect the power of God!”
Dante began to get a sense of impending danger and agreed. “Let’s go together! No matter what the danger, I know we will discover a great adventure!”
“H4r! This will be tight!” Fai exclaimed.
Alkaren Hyralt approached the clouds. “I return to the heavens, this time… in agression! I know a piece of the symbol for the power of God spell is here.” Ascending into Tyealia’s kingdom, he saw Penchoo laughing and frolicing.
“Nimbus land, nimbus land, I love you nimbus land!” Penchoo saw Alkaren. “What evil!” He exhorted. “I must defend Nimbus land!”
Alkaren looked at him with confusion. “What a weird little bird thing.”
“Terror Appendage!” Alkaren shouted, launching a beam of white energy at Penchoo. Penchoo flew back 10 feet, rolling to a soft landing on the clouds before smashing his head against a bridge.
“Oh dear!” Penchoo exclaimed. “He’s mean! I better run this time! VERMAAAAAIN!”
Alkaren turned around and gasped in surprise as a huge rat driven cluebus (double decker, in fact) ran over him!
“Hurry on!” Vermain said. Penchoo leapt onto the cluebus. Alkaren tried to get up. “I’ll get you next time!” he said, and ran away.
Asuka crossed the bomber river slowly. “Somewhere I will find those symbols of power! If only I were a better swimmer. X_X” Asuka continued struggling against the wave with his nose clenched by one hand and his eyes squeezed shut. After a few minutes, he began to feel it was easier to stroke.
“Hey, that’s better.” Asuka began to say before opening his eyes and realizing he was floating above the water! “What’s going on?” He said with shock in his eyes.
“Asuka, you’re in big trouble this time!” IceHawk said. Asuka turned to see IceHawk floating ominously behind him, levitating Asuka with one hand. “You have violated the codes of the school of sorcery by pursuing a new magic!”
Asuka looked irritated. “This is uncalled for. I haven’t used any techniques. …yet.”
IceHawk shook his head. “Tell it to the board. I have to bring miscreants like you two…” He pointed at Sisok, sitting in a cage on the coast of the river, “under arrest for their selfish and dangerous actions.”
Asuka shook around and managed to spin in a couple awkward circles. “This is a bothersome hitch in my plan!” he commented with strained aggravation on his face. Unexpectedly, a smile came to his face. “I think you should have taken care of us one at a time,” he said, devilishly pointing back to Sisok’s empty cage.
IceHawk dropped Asuka into the river. “Oh no! He’s downright dangerous!” He turned back to Asuka, orating: “Bubble paralysis. Stay there until I retrieve him!” Asuka floated, unable to move, on the surface of the water.
Smiling, Asuka shoved the bubble off from on top of him. “What a klutz.” He commented. “Should have paid more attention to
who he cast that spell on!” Yakuzo shook around angrily inside the bubble, and watched the madman swim determinedly away.
