GuiMLTextCtrl sucks

Why don't these work for GuiMLTextCtrl and GuiMLTextEditCtrl?

They only seem to work for GuiTextCtrl, which makes it impossible to bold or align text in a GuiMLTextEditCtrl since inserting HTML tags wouldn't work.

Does anyone know of a workaround?

The workaround you are looking for is HTML. GuiMLTextCtrl supports it. At least simple things like and .

I agree [to nothing, apparently. I think it's stupid, however]. Same for fontcolor and such. These profile settings should be set default until an html tag overwrites it...
It's really annoying to have to append font color tags to everything just to make sure it displays the color you'd like.

Crow has the right idea, though.

Right, but it doesn't work for GuiMLTextEditCtrl, which is what I need it to work for.
