Question regarding magic.

Does the Intelligence stat have any impact whatsoever on magic damage?
Or is it just there for alchemy and such?

I thought damage was based on Power

From what i've experienced, when it comes to the use of magic, Int only affects Alchemy. Spell damage, i guess, is affected by a number of things including power, magic resist, magic level, other resists (eg. fire).
