Just a small suggestion of freezeani(float)/freezecharani(float).
This will freeze the currently played gani in its current frame for the number of seconds(float).

These would be an awesome feature, for example for spell effects like freeze!

Instead of making their gani idle you could freeze their ani and then display the freeze effect.

I would also like a freezeani2()/unfreezeani() to freeze their ani until unfreezed with unfreezeani()

I so support this idea! :O

Hmm, I never heard of anything like that. Of course, that is bad syntax and I doubt would work. Anyone care to post how to actually do it?

I was playing around with that a bit. After setting it to a certain frame you can just setani() with the same gani name and no frame and it will start at the set frame. Friggin useful

I agree, syntax is horrible ... still, atleast there is a way.

After playing with it for a little while... I still think the syntax for it is... just retarded.
And I still think there should be a freezeani() because there are still problems with doing it this way, such as the gani not finishing.
Not to mention it'd make a lot more sense and I don't think it'd be hard.

The syntax isn't really retarded. It's a string and the function parses the string for you.

I agree that "gani"[i] would be retarded, yes. Because you generally can't get an array member of a string.
