Feature in progress: The new Battle system is under way. Battles will be turned based, and you may attack the upper, middle, and lower regions of the enemy by pressing the 'D','S',and 'A' keys. Damage is determined by your attack power, and the spot you strike.
(Example: Human enemies would lose the most 'Hp' when struck in the head, and lose an average amount when hit in the torso, and little hp would be lost when struck in the legs.)

Alright then, so why would you have three areas to attack when you know the weakest spot and you'd just keep going for it? Or are there other races to choose from?

Well, I believe if it is to be a true Rpg server, it must have an rpg battle system. It will be quite a bit interactive (selecting where to hit the enemy, and where to defend.) One thing that I forgot is that each part of your body has different 'Hp values.' To be 'killed' you must have all Hp lost in either your head or your torso. However, taking damage to the legs will cause your player to walk slower, and be more susceptible to unwanted battles.

To start a battle, you must touch, or be touched by an npc. So, if you have damage to the legs and are moving slow, enemies will have an easier chance of catching up to you.

And I also think that the turn system will not work very well. People will get frustrated and will not want to play. Graal isn't known for (in my opinion) slower gameplay

For each area of the map, there will be numerous enemies. Enemies level up along with you, and when they level up, certain spots on their body may become stronger/weaker (weaker in comparison to other parts.)

Dreams End will be a free server! Due to this change, the battle system would be too laggy to have, so we have gone back to traditional.
