Level Rate

Well, I know that the house is a piece of crap. Not much I can do about that, seeing as I am horrible at making houses. Anyway, rate 1-10 and give constructive critisism(s).

Its reasonably ok.
The house isn't so horrible (well it is but belief me i'v seen way worse) Try playing around with some "green bushtops on your roof and things like that" (tiles located under blue church tiles and the "corner" pieces are under the yellow tree or nexto it..)

Brown roof also has a front tile by the way. Its located right under it (would be better if you use those)

The grass is ok. Try to variate with diffrent types of grass. Play around with it you might get some ideas yourself. Like use 6 tiles of "flat grass" -withouth a black linage- and than continue with some of the normal grass/dirt border tiles.

Try to avoid straight lines just make it a bit more swirly and make the grass/dirt borders swirl around a bit. Even if its just a little bit (it will help with the overall look)

Water:
Try to make the shallow water a bit more "swirly" make it go outwards and back in and just make it look a bit more wider. Also enlarge the grass part and possibly even add "beach tiles" the dirt to water tiles (can be found in the top left corner of pics1.png -relativly close to that... not all of them are there so you'd have to do searching)

Its my opinion that you should just leave the "wave" paterns out of the water. But thats again a personal opinion do as you see fit.

PS:
Don't try to use to use the custom grass tile (the \~/ grass patern, top left corner tileset) to much. Also detail a bit with some "cut off" swamp tile. (Can be found nexto cut bush tile) Just pick a few of the 4 tiles and place them a bit everywhere and most importantly just watch how others do it and than try doing it the same way just to get the hang of it.

---
Your reasonably ok level is much better than some of the so called "1337" levels people post on the forums. Atleast it doesn't have a huge ammount of bugs in it

Nice, I really like it!

If you're not using it, I guess we could add it to VS?

Here is another level. I like this one a lot more. This one is directly to the right of the previously level.

I like the second one more.

But I suck at judging levels, it just looks like I would like to play on it.

The second one is a bit busy. There is a lot of water all over the place. The house well its very plain. Try and come up with your own designs. I like the layout just the water everywhere looks kinda strange. Good job though 5/10
