My proposal is simple: Compromise. So please, if you would, keep not only your ears, but moreso your mind open to this. It could leave everyone going home happy.
Bel'la Olplyn is an evil kingdom. This I am not saying as an opinion. I am saying it as a fact. By nature, Drows are chaotic evil beings, and make plenty of enemies. But why limit the kingdom strictly to one species, exiling others? As of right now, Zormites, Orcs, Undead, and other species are few and far between, and could use company a little better than a small group bent on destroying Bel'la. Mr. Zurkiba Zaeri came to me again with the request of jining him in a 'final stirke' against the Olplynians, and I immediately thought to myself of how absurd all this talk was. At the present time, like a few of the wiser folks on GK have said over and over, there is no way to 'overthrow' Bel'la. That should really be cut and dry by now, but I guess that it really isn't, since so many people seem to think it is possible. But at the same time I was also thinking, "Why does the evil kingdom have to be destroyed when all it has to do is accept more beings with a will pretty much in the same direction?" Perhaps Bel'la is settling for less if they want to be evil. The main thing I would like for people to think about is this: If an evil Kingdom is going to be on GK, shouldn't it come together with other creatures for the potential of creating some real havoc? Why fight over racial issues on GK when everyone could work together to achieve so much more?
I have a dream that one day the Kingdom of Bel'la Olyplyn, whose leader's position is presently teetering on the edge of inquiry and destruction, will be transformed into a situation where little fishes and Drows will be able to join hands with little Orcs and Bomies and walk together as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today. I have a dream that one day every execution pit shall be exalted, every castle and ego shall be made low, the rugged soldiers will be made average, and the crooked leaders will be made straight, and the glory of the horde shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the isle. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a diamond of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of the changed nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to fight together, to pillage together, to struggle together, to be pilloried together, to stand up for evil together, knowing that we will be content one day.
This will be the day when all of darkness' children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of devilry, of thee I sing. Land where my brethren died, land of old Bile's pride, from every mountainside, let darkness reign." And if Bel'la is to be a great nation, this must become true. So let darkness reign from the prodigious caves of Drows. Let darkness reign from the nomadic surroundings of Orcs. Let darkness reign from the crashing waves of the Zormites! Let darkness reign from the putrid wastelands of the Undead! Let darkness reign from the mighty forests of the Bomies! But not only that; let darkness reign from the kingdom we can surely form if we all pull together! From every mountainside, let evil reign!
When we let chaos rule, when we let it rule from every village and every flat, from every coast and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of darkness' children, Bomies and Zormites, Drows and Undead, Orcs and maybe even those gray lookin' things, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old chaotic spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank Bile almighty, we are free at last!"
