A kingdom of chaos.

Ladies and Gentlemen of GK, I come to you with a proposal. Much bickering has been over the newly-formed kingdom, (Yes, Bel'la) and I would like to give me two cents on this matter now that I have had the time to sit back and think about what could satisfy everyone at once. My proposal is simple: Compromise. So please, if you would, keep not only your ears, but moreso your mind open to this. It could leave everyone going home happy.

Bel'la Olplyn is an evil kingdom. This I am not saying as an opinion. I am saying it as a fact. By nature, Drows are chaotic evil beings, and make plenty of enemies. But why limit the kingdom strictly to one species, exiling others? As of right now, Zormites, Orcs, Undead, and other species are few and far between, and could use company a little better than a small group bent on destroying Bel'la. Mr. Zurkiba Zaeri came to me again with the request of jining him in a 'final stirke' against the Olplynians, and I immediately thought to myself of how absurd all this talk was. At the present time, like a few of the wiser folks on GK have said over and over, there is no way to 'overthrow' Bel'la. That should really be cut and dry by now, but I guess that it really isn't, since so many people seem to think it is possible. But at the same time I was also thinking, "Why does the evil kingdom have to be destroyed when all it has to do is accept more beings with a will pretty much in the same direction?" Perhaps Bel'la is settling for less if they want to be evil. The main thing I would like for people to think about is this: If an evil Kingdom is going to be on GK, shouldn't it come together with other creatures for the potential of creating some real havoc? Why fight over racial issues on GK when everyone could work together to achieve so much more?

I have a dream that one day the Kingdom of Bel'la Olyplyn, whose leader's position is presently teetering on the edge of inquiry and destruction, will be transformed into a situation where little fishes and Drows will be able to join hands with little Orcs and Bomies and walk together as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today. I have a dream that one day every execution pit shall be exalted, every castle and ego shall be made low, the rugged soldiers will be made average, and the crooked leaders will be made straight, and the glory of the horde shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the isle. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a diamond of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of the changed nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to fight together, to pillage together, to struggle together, to be pilloried together, to stand up for evil together, knowing that we will be content one day.

This will be the day when all of darkness' children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of devilry, of thee I sing. Land where my brethren died, land of old Bile's pride, from every mountainside, let darkness reign." And if Bel'la is to be a great nation, this must become true. So let darkness reign from the prodigious caves of Drows. Let darkness reign from the nomadic surroundings of Orcs. Let darkness reign from the crashing waves of the Zormites! Let darkness reign from the putrid wastelands of the Undead! Let darkness reign from the mighty forests of the Bomies! But not only that; let darkness reign from the kingdom we can surely form if we all pull together! From every mountainside, let evil reign!

When we let chaos rule, when we let it rule from every village and every flat, from every coast and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of darkness' children, Bomies and Zormites, Drows and Undead, Orcs and maybe even those gray lookin' things, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old chaotic spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank Bile almighty, we are free at last!"

Thank you. (Now proceed with quoting me 80 times to make me look like a fool and discourage me from ever reading the replies to this topic again. =] )

I don't care about Bel'la's moral alignment. I care that they're where Zormite should be. If they want to exist then they should be on a sixth kingdom island.

Where in any of that did I talk about 'owning' Bel'la? I won't even think of joining that kingdom in the future, mainly because it has such a bad reputation, and probably always will. I know things can get better, and this is just a suggestion of how they might. But if you all want to battle over who's on a stupid piece of land 'til the dying days of GK, that's fine, I guess. If people can't get along, I guess we'll just let this continue on 'til nothing's left.

These are the problems and reasons why nobody wants Bel'la to exist:
1) Before the kingdom became Bel'la, Etien/Debaglio and Graynt/Kefkin were terrible leaders and 152738693215 people tried to overthrow them.
2) The RP to take over Zormite was horrible. "WE KILLED THEIR KING!111!11!!1 THEY ACCEPT US NOW1!!11!1!!11onehundredeleven!1!!1oneone!!"
3) There is never a 3.
4) Debaglio performed the largest scam (Deb, call it a "trade" again and I will have to violently remove your liver) in GK history (possibly in Graal history). And his punishment? Doing nothing but sitting idle in the pillory.
5) Bel'la was really only a terrible attempt to "cover up" the bad actions of Etien and Graynt. It did exactly the opposite of that.
6) Debaglio studies in Amsterdam. Why? Find out what there is legal that is illegal in many other places (or at least in the USA).
7) Kefkin and Debaglio are boyf-- erm, "best friends".
8) They just act like *****s in general.
9) They power RP and RP badly (a land monster being a "sea monster" <_<).
10) Their only way of arguing is by assuming, leaving out, and/or misinterpretating details.
11) They both have huge ego problems.
12) They are highly delusional.
13) ... Definately not going to put something under "#13"
14) Do I need to go on?

You're missing the point. No matter how much everyone complains and moans, nothing's gonna happen unless one of two people on GK does something about it. You can fill a whole page with reasons for people not to like Bel'la or with stories of how Bel'la sucks or how you attacked them or even with pages that have petitions on them, but when it comes down to it all, the people on GK can't really do anything about it. Period. Sam's said this before, and I really have no clue of why people haven't listened.

Zormite was 'overthrown' by a person who had already become leader for some time. It's not like Aki got killed by Kefkin and he took her crown and scepter. She handed him down the position, and he decided to suddenly wipe Zormite out of existence when things started to go against him way too much.

ok, first off, Graynt has no idea what he is doing. If he really wanted to be the "king" of the Drows he should have done a lot of research. There is no possible way a Male Drow could be king or anything even close to that. Drow males are treated like slaves. they have no rights over women whatsoever. They also worship the Spider "Queen", not some stupid eye that watches over people, if you gonna make something for gk at least be origional and don't rip it off from a movie(like LOTR).X_X

We dont care about their darkside-lightside alignment..

What we care is that we have two people, Graynt and Etien, who are leading a kingdom abusively without properly recruiting people or even explaining simple things to them. Why dont you ask a Wanderer if they're a Drow or not, most of them will ask what a Drow is and if they know what a Drow is it is because I taught them. As I type this I have a house ontop of me because they thought it would be 'funneh' if they trapped me in a building and kept me out of that building.

We're also pissed because they have ruined an eight year long tradition of Graal. They ruined a tradition that has been around since the dawn of Graal! If they wanted to ruin a kingdom they should've done it to Forest, where the storyline would actually halfway fit.

Trust me Drae, I've tried compromise. I've attempted to hold two meetings with myself, the staff, and Kefkin. He only attended one in which we were both granted equal leadership rights of the kingdom but we would have to make one compromise - Drow or Zormite. We both said it wouldn't work. The kingdom has to be Drow or Zormite... there is no inbetween.

I just hope the staff members of Graal Kingdoms doesn't screw the traditions of Graal- that they would have a greater sense of what they're working on.

If people would stop slandering our kingdom then maybe you guys could see some real growth. Draxx fills his days slandering our new players... telling them they are in the kingdom of the scammers. LoL. Draxx you really know nothing about drow do you. You psuedo Drow.... Kefkin is the Vaeraun. Check you history.... thanks for telling our members what they already know.

We are not forcing the concept of Drow...... I am not drow. I am Tiaga..... we have created a dark kingdom, and have been working towards this for months. Slowly the ranks have been changing.

A slow transition to see if anyone cared about Zormite was enacted so that we could see if there was any life left. There was not, as you can see from the history in the old ZR now Bel'la forum folder. People just slandered our new ideas.... whats new.

You guys had your chance to play along with the fish..... its hard RP somthing that no one cares to pass along.. The fish have been dead for some time. Kefkin was entrusted the kingdom because he has a superior concept and history of RP......not because he is or was a fish. I am sorry that some of you can not hang with long term RP concepts. As far as Zormite's being evil..... they were and never will be.

We have created a dark kingdom. All are welcome to join...... there are many ranks to please all. We are not an elite kingdom with huge joining qualifications. Advancing is a different story all together.

The Wanderer position was created so that players can 'wander' until the understand where they will (choose) fit into the kingdom. There are even ranks for the people who dont really like to RP to advance into by other means. ie: showing other skills.

You guys need to stop kicking and screaming, and bickering like little school girls. Many dark updates (in game) to come. Log on and participate. The bottom line.... an advanced long term RP is here. Bel'la Olplyn Ultrin. The story has just begun.

Draxx is a Drow, but an outcast from their culture/society.
They are not slanders, they are truths.

Sorry, but the kingdoms were made for ROLEPLAYING, not for stoners who claim to be neuroscientists and their boyf-- I mean "best friends" to have their twisted fun.

Good roleplaying will not happen unless it is fun and rewarding for everyone.

The problem I see with Bella Olp'lyn, Kefkin, and Debaglio is that they RP in a selfish manner. They won't RP unless it is beneficial to them.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice a bit of power to have fun. Look at me for instance... I'm probably the most powerful RP character, yet I can't do crap other than defend myself, the balance, and my home on Dustari.

If I were Kefkin... I would of given Zormite Empire 50% chances to accomplish 3 events successfully to take the kingdom. At least people would get a fun time out of it instead of sitting in the castle gates while Etien flips out about it.

In truths, they wont RP because they cant. They can only form storylines. Kefkin makes oh so much better storylines then Debaglio, who writes of the ghetto demon god who is str8 trippin'

Actually, there is a three part event. We just have to do the last event where we invade the castle.

However it's hard to have fun when only one side is active.

I kinda think this is true, etien and graynt are trying to start over, just with perfect items, they have spoke with me straight from the telephone, they each told me "We are planning to change Zormite into *****(Whatever they said at the time) because we want our reputation of the kingdom (Know as the scammers kingdom) to get better, so thats why we might change it" The problem you people have is that you wont exept that in them, they TRIED to fix them self, but you people just build up mroe on them, so they cant!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody has ever managed to be forgiven for scamming without giving the items back. Why would this case be different? What kind of idiot thinks that they're going to improve how people think of them by destroying the oldest kingdom on all of Graal anyways? Etien and Kefkin were just a couple of newbies who didn't know what they were doing by trying to replace Zormite. Now they're just worried about looking soft if they cave in.

Not that it matters. Bel'la Olplyn and the scam are seperate issues. Even with just giving back the items, Bel'la Olplyn will still be the number one target of virtually the entire Graalian establishment. If Bel'la Olplyn was removed without the items being returned, then Kefkin and Etien will still always be labeled scammers.

Very true.

But them giving up their kingdom to someone that might actually make it into something again is like asking the current president of my own country in real life to do the same. None of us have the power to do anything about it, yet we want to see it happen.

And spiker, quit being so damned nationalistic with Bel'la and at least take a look at exactly what is going on in there before you post again. Kefkin wanted to make the kingdom 'his' by changing the name. In order to do so in a semi-legitimate fashion (One that he thought at the time wouldn't get him to be scorned anymore about the scams that Debbie made.) he simply decided to change the kingdom. And for a while, yeah, people did ignore it. (Except for a few.) But then trouble started to bubble up again when Graynt decided to let Etein (A supposedly dead character) into the kingdom again, and did a tag wipe, leaving only a few members in the kingdom to rebuild. Now Bel'la is an exact mirror of Kurenai Joukai. In turmoil, and in need of someone who can actually rebuild it rather than saying s/he's going to and not doing so at all. Now if you guys can think of a way to rebuild your kingdom into something great, then act on those thoughts. But you need to realize that everyone in the whole game doesn't want to be a Drow, no matter how cool they might seem to you. Even Forest doesn't limit its members to Elves alone. So either come up with a way to be better than you are now, or cram it and leave so that someone who actually knows what they're doing like Zurk or otherwise can get in there and set things straight again. You are all disgracing both a traditional race and a worthy piece of land by letting it all go to rot.

Every time a problem about BO has been said or at least hinted at, Debaglio and Kefkin misinterpretate it... which is at least ONE reason why BO will never get better. Well, and the fact that Kefkin murdered a very old and respected tradition on Graal and replaced it with a horrible attempt at saving his and Debaglio's asses.

If this were to be true, it would only be true because of people like you and Andrew saying "Things cant and wont change even if it's for the better".

Nevermind it. I am through with being kind to this infantile duo. They have had enough chances. The RP Team alone may not have the athourity to remove them instantaneously, but there are a few who can. I am going to them for help on this issue because I would like to see it resolved once and for all. Needless to say at this point, it is being discussed by every player of great significance on the server at this present time. If this does not resolve the issue, I will be both astounded and somewhat disgusted.

I'm not going to say 'nothing can be done about it' anymore, because frankly that's just not me. Things can always be changed for the better. If you ever catch me saying stuff like that again, it's someone else's negativity. *Points quickly over to Andrew*

Ok, Draenin. If you can make GK change, do it.
You won't help the kingdoms by removing another kingdom. If you think that's the answer, you're clearly wrong.

If you think that keeping a kingdom that everyone clogs up the forums with complaints about, then you, my friend, are clearly wrong.

I alone will not change GK. I am one man with only the powers of reasoning given to me. I have faith that things will be set rightly back into motion again, and also in the people that can make that happen.

It's all in the leadership.

I know what I'm doing, I can turn a two member kingdom into a huge superpower within a month. It happened with Zormite on 2k1 and it happened with Forest on 2k2. The Forest was always seen as the top of the quality chart - why? Because I knew what I was doing. You might say 'LALWZ NO CHRIS DID IT. U WERENT EVEN HERE'... go ask him yourself.

I know what worked on Graal 2002, I know because I was playing with about 110 other players at one time.

Moreso to the end of the fact - If you think that removing a kingdom leader and replacing him/her with a better one is NOT the right answer then you are clearly wrong.

Bjorn has decided that he should not make the decision, rather a higher admin of Graal should.

Good thing all of the globals have expressed animosity towards the Bel'la Olplyn right?
