v3 player coords bug?
|
Okay, JUST to start out this post... I'd like to report a suddle, but somewhat significant bug with v3. When you reconnect the coords of your player shift to the left a little.
With that said, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to gather some of my thoughts from some other threads... and then some more.
Things that I miss when I play in version 3, regardless of whether or not it's going to be re-added:
-Clicking on playing area gets you out of chat field.
-Alt+S sends PM
-Full Screen having a higher resolution
-Profiles and organization on playerlist
-autosave password
-multiple PMs able to be open
I also would like to point out some things that bug me.
-Anything I put in the above list
-Playerlist in level area
-No background color to where the playerlist says how many people are online
-Resizing window puts playerlist in the center of the screen
Most of this stuff could probably get changed... the playerlist by playing ratios, i'd imagine. Other stuff is probably going to be added. The two biggest issues I think would be the playerlist and the password save feature.
I know my password, but if I were a newbie I would definately not know it. Some people argue that not having a saved password is good for security reasons, while I somewhat agree. I think that it should be optional. I would have really hated having to remember my assigned password in my newbie days.
The playerlist is the next thing I would like to say something about. Nobody really likes it being on the level field... but it is also very annoying having it outside of the level field in full screen. I have said that the easiest way around this would probably be to add more features. The easiest solution to this would probably be to allow the playerlist to be docked onto the side of Graal. That way it can be opened and out of the way. If any other features were to be added, I would want to see it so you could hide certain groups of people (staff, ignored, buddies, guild), or be able to make your own group(buddies1,buddies2,inguildbuddies). |
