There should be a rp course and a extended into with mining and other stuff.
And question like "whats ic and ooc" are not good enough for tests to hire people for kingdoms.

You can't tell whether someone knows how to rp properly if you don't give him or her a chance. Ic and OOC refer to the general rules, and that's something you can ask. Asking 'can you rp' won't help.

On the same note, you can't teach someone to rp who doesn't want to, nor can someone learn to rp against a NPC.

Maybe so, but how could you have fun with an NPC? A script can't give proper replies, can't think of a dynamic course of rping and so on. You need to give people a chance to see others rping, then join in. No script can ever do that.

Let's go get the doc and travel back to the future to get a fully independant, freethinking NPC and bring it back with us so that we can all RP in our houses alone o_o

I think all kingdoms should have a long document they need to fill out, such as when i was the rp assistant of kara on doomsday, she made a wonderous document that you filled out for royalty, and even had a scoring system. It was a great test, perhaps kingdoms should have people applying to fill out a character sheet, have a character history, and rp with them.

Good idea, however if its just sign posts nobody can be bothered to read that much, needs to be interactive somehow.
