Turn the trade centers into nopk zones, I don't like trying to beat people off of me while I try to sell stuff.

Anyway, i think all towns and the establishments within should be made no-PK zones. It would help RP, kinda...
Like, for a start it would clear out all the PKers from trade tables. Secondly, it would make Bmode tolerable and you can do simple things you're entitled to do such as trade. Thirdly, it would make things a bit more interesting. The PKers would no longer be able to PK in a centralised location, so they would lurk around on the routes between towns. This'd mean that they would be like highway robbers or muggers or something, and if you were slow then they could PK you and it wouldn't be a problem because all you're doing is travelling from A to B and you can easily just take a different route next time.

I agree - maybe not towns, but shops and trading houses - after all, shouldn't such establishments be guarded, to prevent crimes inside?

We-ell, i mean if you're going to just do the building and not the town, then the *****s will just stand -outside- the trade centre and PK anyone who tries to go in

Wars are fought on battlefields, not inside trading houses.

Agreed Satrek, as some folks forget there is a place for everything.

Trade house = Trading your goods

Arena = go there to get shown up but the buff arnold wannabes

and don't keep telling folks go P-mode because "dur! it called Bmode for a reson!" If they needed Pkers running lose they would have named it PK-mode, correct?

And Tseung, I also am concerned about your lack of taking Action against the harrassment levels on GK, Not quoting from the user agreement as in another thread that was closed, But the PK folks seem to be running the show on GK, I'm probably mistaken being i don't know if anyone was already banned, But it's getting much worse since there are ever incresing threads about someone getting bothered in the trade house.

The best fix is have another update and figure out a set of safe areas for not so powerful Bmoders to hurry to if they are in trouble, And many other ideas were suggested, lets see if we can encourage stefan to help the weak folks out again eh?

I see battles in there all the time, they keep saying thats a rip off I want more, then the other person says no thats not a rip off, then other guys yes it is, then the other guy says no its not and it goes on and on and on.

I see playerkills in there all the time, they say "I WANT TO BUY YOUR BRUTAL GIVE IT TO ME" and you say "No, i need it" and they kill you if you're in Bmode just for not trading with them. If even that. Usually, they'll just kill you for being in Bmode

Sadly enough Tseung is absolutely right, it would be best to see the crime, you just can't trust many folks to tell the truth and staff do not wish to make a mistake such as punishing only because someone says so.

My last suggestion then is to camp out in the trade center and i'm sure you'll see it happen within five minuites.

Once or twice is fine, but if the PKer does it more than that he/she is clearly being a pest, What are they doing it for anyway?

A bit of pocket change?

To show your stronger?

Revenge? <---i highly doubt this one

As i said, Once or twice should be the limit, Otherwise there will be another complaint or two right here in the forums and i know certain folks are sick of seeing the same topic. *cough*Tseung*cough*

Several areas could be made pk-free, although there must be a detection for if someone attacked someone else and don't protect him for ~5 minutes, even if he is in a pk-free area, to prevent that he is just fleeing to such a zone after hurting/killing someone else.

With this excuse, you could remove every single spell. As long as the spell walls don't kill you in peaceful mode as they used to, they're fine as they are.

Yes, if someone tries to PK you near your alter, your god should step on them.

to stef - yes, who pks himself should not get quick protection, now how about actually adding those zones

how about if you hit someone at his god's altar, you get the damage yourself

if you attack someone at his god's altar and the god is also yours you get some message about your god stopping you from attackign his followers!
and if someone is standing at an altar of a god who he's not following (maybe hes there with a friend or watching someone blessing his weapon) you couldnt damage him instead it says "(godsname) does not allow violence at his sacred altar" like monkeboy said

and back to GoZelda again: yup, removing earth to dust should be firtst priority

to satrek - correct, as long as p-moders are safe bullet wall is fine as it is

everyone makes good ideas, no one's complaining or cursing and even stefan himself posted something... why cant all threats be like this?

It's a really nice idea, but it just doesn't solve the real problem at hand here - crazy PKers harrassing people while they're trying to play the game. eg, praying.

Yeah, No PK in trade, because, for example, I think it was Taikun who was afk for about 10 mins in bomb trade, and someone walked up and killed him X.x
Advantages of PKing should be taken away, ie noone drops anything when they die so there is no point in PKing.

the thing about enemy god would really not help very much... especially because many people follow gov or ogma and they are enemies

and i think the point of pking is not to make others drop plat, some people are only happy when others suffer.. sad but true...

and yes, its annoying when your trying to put like 10 k on a table while behind you someone stabs you with his gov +18 (dmg + 154) warhammer... or a magic bullet :P

well i think we feel the same about them...
there was a discussion about them breaking the user agreement because they "restrict others from enjoying graal"
i think y'all can guess how it ended........
a part of the problem is that those pkers can say "if they dont want to be pked, why are they in b-mode?"... but who over lvl 20 would want to get half experience for being in p-mode?

i think thisproblem can never be really solved, but pk free shops and altars would be very good step against pker-annoyance
now, its up to stefan

A better idea (which i think that PKers will disagree with, for some unknown reason...

) is that we only have peaceful mode and kingdom mode.
p mode is normal, bla bla bla.
but in k-mode you have certain stats, you dont get any exp for killing monsters while in k-mode (but you can kill other players who are in k-mode) and you dont drop items when killed. This would encourage k-mode to only be used in wars/battles and would lessen PKing generally.

I'm probably going to be disagreed with and, maybe, flamed as well for suggesting that , but oh well...

Hm... the idea isn't bad, if done right... I don't like the idea of not getting exp from monsters... an easier way would be to equal the exp obtained in pmode and bmode. An additional kingdom-mode could be used in times of wars, to, say, limit armour enchantments to +5 or something...

Kahallos has the best idea i have ever seen! If you stop to think you'll see how that could make the kingdoms more role play centered again, that would stop alot of these posts about "soandso needs to not PK me even if i'm on bmode".

This can also severly restrict folks from making a very bad choice, The reason you ARE in a kingdom is to RP, If you go Bmode just to make problems and suddenly get tossed out, Your in more trouble than if you DIDN'T join because now you can't level up anymore.

I would also get tons of laughs telling the next idiot that PK's me and gets thrown out "if you wanted to level why are you Bmode?"

What is it with all the Earth-to-dust bashing? The spell is very useful! Heck, if another kingdom built a 5-wall thick fort around your castle with stone forts, would you like to spend 5+ hours hacking each seperate one to pieces with a weapon? Ugh.
