I was thinking of cool story lines for servers and I came up with the following:


The world is named Ketara. It is held together by a single stone known as the Balance Stone. It controls the various temperate zones on the planet. It is kept in a chamber in the center of the planet, guarded by many enchantments and runes, designed to ward off those who would enter.
The empire of Benatin and Revane battle on the surface of the earth for control of the continent of Tsila. This continent was once home to an ancient civilization known as the Quaton, and some of the old artifacts still retain the power of those times.
A man named Kelik Saden is the villain of the story. He was once head of the Council of Mages. Rumor has it that he was banished from the Council after he went mad, researching the magic of the Quaton.
Kelik Saden makes his way to the Temple of Darkness, where the entrance is guarded by the Tek Bannor Knights. After slaying them, he makes his way to the center of the earth, where he grabs the Balance stone and removes it from it's altar. The result is polar imbalance, and the north and south poles are melted.

You come in to the story 300 years later. You are sent back in time to stop Kelik Saden from reaching the Balance Stone, and creating the sunken world in which humanity now lives.
