I'm not sure what you mean .. but it does work .. if you created a party and then weren't getting experience, though .. you have to join it as well as creating .. trust me, partying works, I've gotten many an experience point through it...

To gain experience through parties you can't just join while on start.gmap and the other person killing monsters in housedungeon1.gmap. I believe you have to be in the same gmap (or general area) to gain EXP.

/party form partyname
/party join partyname

You do get experience from it, I hit Magic Level 5 on someone else's kill
