Question about guild inactivity

I owned a guild called "Shogun Crew". Corny name, but whatever. I believe it was disbanded for "inactivity".

When you have a guild with 10+ members, and you have just as many members as you want, and don't wish to add any more tags, and the tags are used semi-often, and you have no more reason to log into the control panel (other than, I suppose, to prevent inactivity? But that's a horrible reason to do so.) I'd like to know why "inactivity" is a good reason to delete a guild such as mine that was self-sufficient.

Just log in and click build database once every two months to prove your guild is still alive? You don't have to recruit to show activity.

:-\ Still, there should be a better system than logging in JUST to stop inactivity. Unfortunately, it's beyond your control to do that.
