Starting off as a newbie on graal2k2 can be rough. The Pkers with their 1337 Diamond Swords. Well here is someting that could help u. when u start off roll for the stats you would like to have. but it is weird because first u get the stats then you choose your person(makes no sens). Usually there is always something better for you when you think it is good enough.
After that here are the step:

(WARNING USE THE SACK AT YOUR OWN RISK PEOPLE HAVE LOST ITEMS)
1.You must go to a bed. it will save your Restart position instead of starting over.

2.Hit /save everynow and then

3.Avoid Pkers
(if you are a mage and you need to know how to use magic it is /invoke but you have a good chance of suicide.)

4.go north along the snowtop island to get to the mines

5.there is not only 1 mines so do not complain.(east of the original)

6.this is about what you atleast need atleast 14 iron and 6 gold
and 3 coal

7.craft all your needed tools.(INFO: you can get pliers and save your iron go to the crafting shop west of your starting point to get cheaper items)

8.You should either go back to the mines and get more iron for yourself to make weapons or be helpless

9.If you are in hunger use the water can to get food unless you like to farm and get your hunger away fast.

10.To get to the main island you must hit the bell 3 times(or kick it 3 time)

11.The sword place is a north then west from the beggining
go in like a 110 angle from your starting point

12.If you need hat Skeletons,blades, shield plates go to Bomboria
(west of your starting point along the shore)

13.For Helmets it is far end at the map be sure to stay along the shore.

14.if you see someone with a good helm dont attack him you might get bet up

why cant i get cloth?
-it hasnt bee released yet

where do i find the thing to make boots
-it is cloth

I CANT GET A DIAMOND
-its impossible usually 1 out of 30 rocks is a diamond

i keep dying from bomys
-go for the slower ones dont go for the evil

what can i eat?
-look at the food guide

Why cant i grab my corn?
-you need a sycthe

i am so laggy i move slower
-there is a weight system dump the useless

Can I change my hair??
-yes go to the hairshop upleft from unstick me

How do i use the lumbermill?
go up to the edge and press a
quickly go to the other side before someone might take it

Lumbermill
-i suggest hold your tree seeds until your there then plant them right next to it

Restarting
-this time if you restart items wont come back

that isn't really a food guid, if so taht means mint spring is food!? when i ate it it was posionus and bomy skin tastes bad

Shows how much you explore...there are two. The other mines are a little north east of the ones you're describing.
