Anti Shield/Alternative Shields

Some people Rp, or are planning to RP characters (when kingdoms come out) that would look silly with a shield. For instance clerics, assassins etc.

There needs to be some major handicap to using shields, possibly speed and endurance. Otherwise make alternative shields like guantlets or work cloves. Or for an assassin have a cloak that hangs over the unarmed hand. Maybe you can't imagine it but I have seen this is some pictures, with a street duelist or mercenarry or assassin has a dagger or sword in one hand and his cloak extending to his hand with his anarmed hand clutching it.

ah I like! I would like there to be a crossbow for assaian class And the uanlets are a very good idea!

If you want cloaks, then we'd need clothes and bodies or whatever they'd use for clothes. Hopefully there's capes and stuff, but a cloak, Iunno. THat would be a cool shield though o_O

Wizard == Magic shield =). And short range melee magic.

Priest and Clerics= staffs, or mabey a small aura.
