Whelp. I've finally got a deadline set for many things. If you want to see what we're up to, read this:

Kingdoms

1.) Providence has had kingdoms previewed before (Malave, Archine, etc.) and most of them were tests. I know there were many tile errors in them, and it didn't matter.
2.) We have four kingdoms, and they may possibly be going up (see deadline after jobs) in the near future. I, myself, am checking all levels to make sure there are NO tile errors whatsoever.
3.) Kingdoms will be well organized. There will be a kingdom selection (see character section) while you are choosing your character, and there will be no kingdom hoppers. Much information will be released about this later, and while you are selecting your kingdom. This assures there are no kingdom hoppers or spies. If you're going to spy, spy under a bush. :P

Jobs
------
1.) There will be about six jobs on Providence. They include (but may be changed at any time) fishing, farming, lumberjacking, blacksmithing, ship-building, and hat-making.
2.) Status:
Fishing - 50%Complete
Farming - 10% Complete
Lumberjacking - 95% Complete
Blacksmithing - 25% Complete
Ship-building - Undetermined
Hat-making - 5% Complete
3.) Jobs will be non-limited. You can choose an initial job, so you excel at that job first, while getting used to Providence. At any time, you can get a different job. There is no need for any resets, as you will be able to make money from your initial job, then go and buy supplies for another job that you may wish to try out.
4.) More jobs may also be added.

You will be able to choose the following:
1.) Race
2.) Kingdom
3.) Profession/Occupation/Job
4.) Special Skill
5.) Gender
Race - Currently, there is only human. We hope to add about three more races, so you can play around. Note: Bomy(s) will not be allowed on Providence. No bomy race, no bomy pet.
Kingdom - Choose a kingdom! You can join any of the four kingdoms here. Be sure to choose wisely, as there will not be any account resets.
Profession - [See above for job section]
Special Skill - Are you a Cleric? Do you like to help people? A bandit, perhaps? Maybe you like stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. (or yourself
) Possibly a knight in shining armor? You might just get a kiss from that special maiden you've had your eyes on. (or prince if you're a female) Well you can choose any one of them here, and excel at your duties while helping your kingdom.
Gender - Boy or girl. Enough said.

Deadline

I, and the rest of the staff, would like to have all of the above up by June 1, 2002. Please don't come and ask for a job.
It gets über annoying when people come on Providence, just to ask for a job. I especially hate it when they are told no, and say something idiotic such as "YUOR SRVER SUX I HATE YUO BYE." Maybe they're be some job openings later. Check the updates ("show updates") to see if there are any open.
