Slight problem with hideplayer

I have a script that hides the player for .05 and then moves the player to 1,1 while keeping the focus on the old playerx,playery...

I then have a timeout loop (.05) that hides the player for .05...

When i go to remove these effects, everything is good, but the player never unhides....

I've tried hideplayer 0, hideplayer .05, but he never comes back (he went off into the void...)

Bleh....is there a command to show the player after hideplayer(2);?

I do belive, on a pay-to-play server, that you can use hideplayer2; and showplayer;. I'm not exactly sure. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

normally it should not work anymore in online mode.
You can use showstats to hide the player/s

Yes, but I was always under the impression that showstats' purpose was only to change what was shown on the user's screen. Why else would the player himself be grouped with things like the hud components?

I dont think so since you can hide the status bars and stuff and those only show locally for you...

Well if you wanna be complex, you could always put the player off-screen and use setfocus... basically the same as hideplayer, albiet with limited controls...

yeah we can, but I think there was some kinda problem with this guy's script.
