Account Reset System? Well it needs to come back seeing there is no ART or anything and it should include a whole wipe so hours, kills, deaths, npcs, ap, rating etc. And an option that only reset kills, deaths, npcs, ap. So incase like you want to start over with killing again you don't have to lose all your hours? This is probably a dumb idea, but I think we should get it back, so please vote.

...No, the reason it was removed was to stop people from resetting their way out of jail, if it returned that would start happening again, especially if they can reset and keep everything.

Then fix it some how... O.o Like if you reset you start in the same place...and then say unstick me and it takes you back to the begginning of the whole server...? Plus I mean wipe hearts and everything in that keeping hours thing so the only thing you keep is hours....

hmm, well, they could make an npc that uses with (allplayers[i]) and make it so if they have a certain falg or string, they get there attributes reset but I'm not sure if you can edit the full heart count serverside

It's already like that when admins reset you. I was reset a couple weeks ago.

How about add it to RC or another program besides the website then people can't reset accounts to get out of jail. But then if RC was hacked...it would be doom...

Yes, but why not advance that sometimes people want hours and everything gone...And I am talking about all server's not just New Main because you want to change from a bomy to a human.

Yes but how about it takes a day to reset the account? Then if it was being abused they would know...Or the RC does it, it sends an e-mail to the person and you must reply with "Yes" :/

there could be a text file of everyone in jail on the ftp and if you are on that list it would disable ars for your account?

It could actually be easy to script.

Jailed = Flag on Char

Unjailed = no flag

ARS would only work if u didnt have the flag.

see i remember a little bit on how to script

make it log people that are jailed and if they are jailed then their name is on the jailed.txt list and the html can check the account your trying to reset and if it is on the list then it would say This Account cant be reset right now.....

As Alkaren said, RC's have the reset option for a reason, and I concur with the people who say no. It would be more hastle than it's worth.

put a npc outside where the sign is that are updates and you say "Reset my account 1" then say yes and you have your account reset therefor people in jail will be stuck in there....and they cant get out to it...

It could all be done with PHP..... the script could load your account attributes, check the level you are in, and then load the serveroptions.txt to see if the level you are in is one of the jail levels or not; it shouldn't be too hard to do. Oh, and if the server wanted jails that weren't built in jail levels ("No PM Jail"), then there could just be a "noars" string in the serveroptions or something that lists the levels that ARS should reset people from.

As for making an NPC to reset accounts, it would be near impossible without a command to recieve all of the flags of a player... but serverside editing of fullhearts DOES work.

As far as I know, only one person really cares about your problems: you. But lots of people have said that fireworks are superfun. One is an aid to the economy problem, the other is a harm to it. But no, we should work on your problems just because you think we should
