Your best bet would be to use arrays most likely.

keep a variable or two for the x and y of the pen, then use arrays for the colors, when they press d or whatever in one of the colors, change the color to the one selected, etc, etc

There, unfortunately, is no mouse support in Graal outside of the Editor CNPCs (For as far as I am aware). However keeping track of the x,y position of a customly scripted cursor and making it send a trigger to the NPc it comes from with the x,y location could be a reasonably effective way.

Now with occasional Asuka flavour! Ooops a bit too much...

Stefan told me he was not adding mouse support because "people might try to make mouse-based movement systems".

I'd rather type on my keyboard, [Tab] **COLOR** [Enter] [Tab] rather than going straight to the mouse in gameplay.

And to Stefan, that's a bad thing.
I agree but lets say it was Mousex
couldn't he code it so that if the player clicks on an open level nothing happens but if it is on a showimg or somet else then it would work?
i mean he already has that for the weapons screen
