could some one help me im a little stuck how do you make it where you can make and have a gani active like the torch on g2k1

you want to make it so that say when u use the gani you walk with a different gani right..

something like

if (weaponfired){
if (!torchwalk){replacegani walk,newgani;set torchwalk;}
else {replacegani walk,walk;unset torchwalk;}
}

that should work
i have not tried it i think the command is
replacegani.. then the default gani and the one you want to use now

It's replaceani. Stefan made a boo-boo in the newfeatures one release and called it replacegani, but it is really replaceani.

In the same way that I did, learn yourself.

Basically try reading through some of the NPC Scripting guides linked to from both the Graal 2001 and Graal Classic sites, and try checking commands.rtf, also try searching for an old Graal levels pack, they're probably for download somewhere and by checking some of the NPC's in there you might learn things you didn't know before.

And as a final thing, don't start doing complex things, first try simple stuff, instead of, for example, as your first thing trying to create a new race, try making a simple weapon which lays the built-in bombs, then try making that same weapon only without using the built-in bombs (And without putnpc), etc. etc.

It perhaps isn't the fastest way to becoming a master of scripting, but by learning yourself you might bring ideas to the better (Or even the best) scripters of Graal which they would never have though of before.

Just remember, you won't master it in two days, you'll probably need a few months to do so.
