Complex rights control.

This may or may not have been brought up before, but I think that during the next big update, Stefan should release a more complex rights control. For example, you can give players read rights and write rights. Instead of them there should be Read, Upload, Write, Delete. I think this will reduce the risk of staff abusing their rights and provide a safer way for Administrators to manage their server.

What would the difference between upload, write, delete be?

They could all be used to perform virtually the same ends

Upload = upload to that folder not delete or change contents of files
Delete = delete but not upload or change contents of files
Write = change contents but not delete or upload.

I personally think you're over complicating things. If you're that untrusting of a staff member they should be uploading into a personal folder only which you can then check the contents before moving them to their proper location. What you're proposing actually doesn't make much sense. Ex: Changing the content is basically the same thing as uploading it. Also, why would anyone need the right to delete something if they weren't also able to upload a file. That would be pretty backwards thinking in my opinion.

They can already upload to a folder without having the ability to change the contents of other items within that folder if you name their rights properly. Ex

r levels */*/*
rw levels citydocks_*

In this case they could read all the levels in the levels folder but only change or delete those that started with citydocks_

(Watch me having had wrote that down wrong since I haven't set rights in so long )

No, it would be more complicated. Also, write is essentially also delete because writing 0 bytes of data would delete a file. Even if you won't allow writing 0 bytes, writing a single byte would make a file just as useless.
