setfocus and Graal Editor

It seems if you use setfocus and enter editor mode, focus is not reset and the focus of the editor becomes stuck wherever the player last was. This means scripting any sort of camera systems is breaking editor mode. Right now I'm using 'f' to disable the camera before editing, but I forget a lot, and this isn't very ideal in the first place.

Can anyone think of a better solution? Before anyone says, F4 is not detectable by keydown2, and this is in GS1.

Have two editors open, and just use F5 and reload the level in the editor you're playing/testing in?

Possibly set a key to warp you to a different level, which just warps you back instead of having to go the F5 route.
