Era Rules and Regs including Offences
I am pretty bored, And instead of sitting around just idling on Era I figured I would do something productive. I noticed that alot of people do not seem to know the rules and besides the GP House there is not a document that you can check to see rules and offenses. So here I go...
Racism

- 1st offence : 30 minutes jail time
- 2nd offence : 90 minutes jail time
- 3rd offence : 7 day ban
- 4th offence : 30 day ban
As initially stated within the Graal Code of Conduct (view at www.graalonline.com), this is a Rated PG-13 video game. The inclusion of any discrimination of the outside world is strictly prohibited, you absolutely may not use any racial slurs or forms of discrimination against a fellow player. The games is meant to combine people as a community, in our eyes. We are all Erians, An issue of discrimination should rise from any player.
Harassment/Sexual Harassment

- 1st offence : 15 minutes jail time
- 2nd offence : 30 minutes jail time
- 3rd offence : 60 minutes jail time
- 4th offence : 7 day ban
Sexual Harassment
- 1st offence : 30 minutes jail time
- 2nd offence : 60 minutes jail time
- 3rd offence : 14 day ban
Harassment is a form of bullying in which a person purposely tries to offend another player. This is not tolerated on Graal PERIOD! This includes Sexual Harassment which is offending the sexuality of another player. There will be a warning given until a jail term is set.

- 1st offence : 120 minutes jail time
- 2nd offence : 30 day ban
- 3rd offence : Perm. Ban
As for Exploits, also known as Glitching, This is simply a step below hacking. A player obtaining abnormal abilities or performing an abnormal action by use of an internal glitch within the game. This is a form of hacking without the use of third party programs. Though it may render the same effect meaning in specific cases, you may receive the same punishment as someone convicted of hacking. Advice: If you've discovered a glitch, please alert the proper authorities in order to correct that problem and better the gameplay for all of us!

Any transactions done outside of Era even with the inclusion of Era Items is buyer beware. Our jurisdiction as the Era Police Officers is completely era-bound. We cannot extend our to anything above and beyond. Advertisement of a trade outside of era is prohibited and may result in a jail and/or ban. If you receive a warning, consider it a gift. Note: USD Trades are in reality plageurism, that is a Felony.

As initially stated within the Graal Code of Conduct (view at www.graalonline.com), The phrase "Account Sharing" is allowing someone other then the purchaser of the account to maintain useage of it. Due to obvious reasons, its impossible to recognize who the exact owner is, thereby there uprises a conflict of more than one person withholding an account, the account will be immediately expelled from the game. In order to reactivate this account, the account owner him/herself will have to send a support ticket to (www.support.graalonline.com) along with billing info.

As initially stated within the Graal Code of Conduct (view at:www.graalonline.com), hacking is the use of a third party program for the purpose of the acquisition of abnormal abilities within the game. This act may cause severe harm to the entirety of gameplay, due to this severity this is prohibited and may and expulsion from the game as a whole.

As initially stated within the Graal Code of Conduct (view at:www.graalonline.com), Profanity and the use of vulgar language is not tolerated. There have been specific methods put in place to prevent you from using of any words/phrases that exceed the standard of PG-13. As you know, For every law there spawns a series of methods to bypass it. Duly note this warning, anyone that excessively evades the methods put in place to prevent vulgarity will be punished. It is at the discretion of the officer to show kindness and extend a warning to you.

You may not under any circumstances attempt to impersonate a STAFF TEAM MEMBER. Their authority and respect in the community is upheld by their contribution to the betterment of the server as a whole. Impersonating that in order to obtain any personal gain falls under the category of Slander, It is a jailable offence and at peak bannable offence. Consider this a firm warning to all, if an officer extends you any other after this, note that as a gift, not a requirement

Scamming is illegal on Era. However, this does not mean you now have full protection over your items. There are certain rules and guidelines which I am about to explain.All PRs are now allowed to watch any sort of trade at the request of a player. The GP will be there to make sure the Items/Money are transferred safely to the respective player involved in the trade agreement. It is the player’s responsibility to make sure all the specifics of the trade are made clear to the GP before it takes place. If either one of the players involved disobeys the pre-arranged trade agreement and attempts to “scam” the other player he/she will be punished accordingly, and the GP will take control of the Item trade himself.It is VERY important that if you are involved in a drop trade, and you are unsure of the other person, you PM a GP to come watch. Otherwise if you give someone your gun, we have no way to prove he scammed you and that you didn’t simply give it to him and suddenly regret it. It is their word against yours. However, if we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the scam DID occur, your items will more than likely be restored.If you follow these guidelines, then there is a very low possibility of you being scammed anytime soon under normal circumstances. If a GP is not online at the time of a trade, please be patient and wait for one to log on. If you get scammed because you were in to much of a hurry to get a GP to come supervise, then that is your own fault. There is no guarantee that your items will be restored. All GP’s reserve the right to refuse a case based on their own discretionAlong with these new scamming rules, comes new rules regarding Cross Server Trading. It is once again Illegal to Cross Server Trade on Era. Any player caught advertising it in mass messages or on client will be punished.Also, remember that selling, trading, or advertising items for any currency outside of Era is against the rules, and will be punished with a ban. Selling items "over AIM" or through any other messaging service outside of Graal is recognized as an attempt to illegally sell items for an external currency, and the advertising of such sales or trades will be punished.Any GP showing favoritism or allows a scam to take place should be reported to either salesman or LordSquirt.
