Level update problem

Ok, so Im not sure why this happens. On 2 levels out of all the rest of them, if update level or if uploading an update to the level, all the npc's disappear. very strange. the only npcs on the level are a playlooped and one to enableweapons, pause, and map. It also has a noplayerkilling on it too, even after enabling weapons. Every single time we update the level or upload an update, we have to /updatelevel gmapname on rc to fix it.
Any ideas?

GMAPs usually need to be updated to see updates properly because the NPCs are loaded as a whole entire level (as the gmap).

It may also be that the two levels are uploaded in two spots on the server, for example do /find levelname.nw in RC, and see if it shows up twice.

Otherwise, just keep updating the gmap when you update the levels. It's common.
