Server Options - Profile Vars

In the next gserver version can you please include the ability to do flags as this:
profilevars=Kills:=clientr.stats[1], Deaths:=clientr.stats[0]

Please allow some kind of support for this.

Eventually it could be interesting if the profile could be fully customized (a script which you could override). Would it be ok to have the profile in the game window or do people prefer the external profile window?

That is not necessary.. it should have been using arrays in the first place.

The principal problem with making a variable and setting it equal to the more complex array entry you want reflected in the profile is that, while effective, it is crude in the sense of efficiency - you have to update the profile-ready variable every time you update the array entry. While that's not a whole LOT of overhead, it can be if the variable/string/array changes frequently, and what's worse, it's one more operation to be transcribed an unbound number of times: if the array ever changes and someone forgets to update the profile-ready variable, it'll be reflecting the wrong information on the profile.

Now, maybe if there was an action for onProfileOpen, that could work...but I've been up to my ears in figuring out the most efficient way of sending details like "A lot of information about another player's gani which isn't likely to change a great deal while these two players are online, but might, so should it re-send every detail every time they appear on each others' screens, or should it send updates even when they're not on each others' screens, or...?"

Nicely complicated. So glad this game has Stefan to deal with these issues, he actually knows what he's doing.
