I don't see how it would be a pain in the ass to moderate, all that needs doing is 1, or maybe even 2 gun admins that go on era dev and test out the weapon. Nothing really hard there. This present entrepreneurship in the game, a new aspect. There is a way to regulate how guns enter the game, so don't cry about people abusing it.

You're the one who was complaining about the stats being all the same on guns, more guns with the same stat range obviously = more guns with the same stats.
If someone has the money to start a business in this fashion, they're obviously going to buy the best gun possible or something for their personal needs more than anything else. IE. perfect stat weapons as pre-stated.
Have you seen the past many GBA/Guns Admins?.. Obviously moderating ANYTHING is a pain in the ass/too hard, since they've all failed.
What I was saying was we already have the implements of: too many guns, and player run businesses. People (you) already whine and ***** about the guns, people (me) already question and complain about how businesses work, and people (GBA/Guns Admins) already fail at their respective positions. Using common sense I foresee this turning out bad.
That is.. if they even do it (tons of other crap that needs to be done, rly..)
I say it would take forever as-in the development process. If you had seen the rate of development, or looked at the gang system lately, you would understand the concept.
I know how to, and did read your post. Obviously I diagree or I wouldn't be posting. You don't need to forge some sort of argument.
