Yeah you're right, an event house made completely of leaves and waterfalls is totally medieval (notice the spelling). Why not make it interesting with medieval castles and moats and bridges?
EDIT: Excuse me, a "castle" for a quest made out of leaves.

I'm glad you guys like using a basically 12 year old tileset from a 1992 Zelda game (yeah, I know it's not exactly the same, but its pretty damn close). You should be supporting the growing of the development aspect of this game that should have happened over 4 years ago, using the old tileset and the old formula for servers will just give us more of the crap we have today, which is the same as the crap we had 3 years ago. It's not a "fad", it's a more advanced process of development.
