Yeah yeah sure I bet your gonna try to give us all a sermon on how you slave and labor to make your "pixel art" look good with using as few colors as you can well there is ovbiously something wrong with this picture.
I can make a better piece of art twice as fast as you can yet you think you are more skill-full because you do it the old fashion way. This is like an Amish farmer ragging on the big corprate farming company because they use tractors.... I will fill you in there is no right way to make gfx it all how you look at it.
Pixels are pixels no matter how many you use and it is sad with the tools we have avalibale there are still people trying to opress technology by pleading the old and tired "well we do it the right way" defense...

Having a good knowlage of pixel art can be helpfull becasue you know better what looks good and what looks bad and more importantly why it looks good or why it looks bad. There it nothing wrong with using the new sorts of tools to make art but what pisses me off is when people say that their way is the right way and is better.
Art is a very subjective thing so by having contests and saying who and who is better really proves nothing. To be a good artist you should get to the point where you want to make something and you can make it how YOU wanted it to be made. Sure there are some basics to all "good" art or "popularly praised" art like the monolisa but Ill explain that later.
