i was thinking something like when you go in your house you would get that little box like on the boats (where you can open/close the gate) which would lock down all your furnature. same basic idea, but still, its a simple change and i know it would make my house look a lot better XD.
As for the colored torches and putting stuff on tables, thats a good idea too.
