Yes, a very fine trick. I think MSPaint is way outdated, It should be updated to fit the everyday pixel artist needs, like layering and stuff. (NOT filters though)
Plus, Adobe Photoshop is bound to be crippled for Pixel Art, since its for photo editting, hence Photoshop |
