Not exactly corresponding to real life though...
It would really depend on materials. What would be good is if we could have Iron full plate, copper full plate, lead full plate, each with different characteristics ie lead weighs more, copper gives minus electricity resist etc. So a dagger would do more damage against aluminium full plate than iron full plate etc.
But it would be too much work to implicate, there are more im portant things that need doing on GK (FORTS!), and noone could be bothered (being frank).
