country side works for me... thats where mine is, more or less.
Maby the further away you are from other houses, the more additions you can have. If you're in the middle of town, you can have a first floor and a basement.
As for the social status, the king COULD be level 1, and the slave could be level 100, but the slave could just look at the king, and the king would die, and then the slave would take the throne, or w/e.
My point realy was that people who have higher levels often have an obsurd amount of cash to throw around.
Lots of money often is statusable.
