The straightness, and then there's the height...
It doesn't matter too much I guess but compare it to the "normal" tree and it looks pretty short. Compare a palm tree to...say...a maple tree, and the palm is going to be alot taller. I suppose it's fine how it is now though. More importantly there's a little problem with the top.

The tree is clearly lacking in volume of leaves. There are only 4 branches, I think it could use a few more. It doesn't look as good as it could be with that plus it makes for a very visible and sudden stop to the trunk - it just ends and the leaves are layed on top of it.
