Graal3D will bring more more flexibility in terms of level design, but the gameplay wil hopefully remain similar. To really attract new players, we need drastic changes such as this.
To get them to stay we then need people who will exploit as much out of the dev tools (lats, scripters etc...) as they possibly can. I'd be intrigued to see how scripting and level editing will be implemented in the new version, And I really anticipate being able to work with any new tools as and when they arrive. |
