I'm not sure about this idea, it could make items even more amazing than they are already, but it's worth a try...
Maybe we could bless shields/protective items to gods, ie horned shield of ogma would give poison resistance etc
Only about +5 or +10 to keep it reasonably un-leet
Might not work, because theres not much for balor or bile to have, since balor gives fear resist+100 and bile gives lots of things +100 (i think)
