My xp has never crashed, and the only time i have ever seen it done, was when my friend tired to run half life without installing his graphics drivers, and it caused an infinate loop error. which was the fault of THE CRUDDY MICROSOFT DRIVER, not windows.

I used to run linux, the only reason i came back to windows was because, even though i got it to play DVDs, my old 4x cd writer was not supported, and mplayer was still a long way from supporting the menus on dvds.

I found that on linux, graal ran fine, but there were still several bugs, and it was very sloppy. since i couldnt afford winex/couldnt be bothered to warez it, i even managed to get RC to run on normal wine. fun.

But it was ALOT of hassle, downloading all the crap, just for two things to work?

Now linux is nothing but an empty hard drive in my computer. Shame.
