I guess that is why they should have deleted those posts.
Anyways no one tells you to read it, or forces you, its simply choice.
Because you grow tired of reading something does not mean people who are actually intrested in the topic, do.

A second point poped into my head moments ago.
Forum users who open a thread on a closed topic are banned right? We have seen it many times. So how is someone to continue discussing the topic when the thread is closed. Thus all users who were actively discussing the topic, lose out.
