Monkeyboy_McGee is on a distinguished road
Indeed, on that grave evening upon nearing the castle grounds, the Megaegir of the Zormite Republic came under fire from arrows and hell's fire. He quickly dived through the castle gates and bolted them shut, safe from this onslaught for the time being. After running into the castle's walls, he slumped against a pillar, panting and grasping his side...it was bleeding once more from his encounter with the maniac Nathan Ohnstad, formerly of the Republic and the Nighthawks. He sent a messenger away as soon as he was found, and was tended to by the castle's infermary.
The moment he was fit again, he grabbed up his bow and charged outside to meet his agressors. Unfortunately, they had encased themselves in the shields of their minions and could not be reached by his arrows ((They were in Pmode -_-)). He lowered his bow and approached them, questioning them firmly, with little sensible reply. Shortly after, the remaining officials of the Alliance arrived and their forces, and the Nighthawks royals were surrounded and fully interrogated.

Once a plan was devised, there was little time to lose, and within the hour Ruatha and his aide Dax Issani, the Navy's Aegir, had prepared three ships, loaded the cannons and assigned crews accordingly. In no time at all, the forces of the Alliance were upon the waves and the invasion was taking place.
The initial attack was carried out by the ships H.M.S Bluenose, Captained by Xerkalan Null Stunde, and Dax Issani's own vessel. Last to arrive was the Bombia, carrying the royalties of Dustari, Dictatress Wren, and their personal Guard. The Bluenose landed on the northern shores, Dax's ship landed on the western shores, and the Bombia landed on the southwesterly beaches of Nighthawks Island. Ruatha was the last to vacate his vessel, and the first thing he saw was the bloodied blade and corrupted soul of a Black Cloak member. Under the barrage of magical spells from the air, and the swipes of the Black Cloak's blade, he risked an attack using his oldest weapon, the Naginata, without success. The blade failed to make a scratch in the Black Cloak's armour, so he took up his bow and fired a rain of arrows. Unfortunately, all attacks were futile. Within moments of firing, the black cloak was upon him with a heavy blow from the flat of his sword. It landed directly upon Vimes' arm, breaking it isntantly. Due to the magical strength of the weapon, the Megaegir was sent flying feet into the air and out into the waves.
Unable to swim due to his battered body, Ruatha was quickly consumed by the ocean which he held dear and carried off far out to sea, quickly losing conciousness.
He awoke upon the western shores of samurai, the face of Driken himself staring down at him. Coughing up water was all he could do right now, but once he got to his feet, quick conversation with Driken on the situation was all he could manage. Driken departed to finish the battle, but Ruatha, sadly, was out of commission. He managed to get a ride to the Nighthawks Island just in time to see the Nighthawks King, Hawk Carters, surrender his throne and his island, before passing out once again from sheer exhaustion.
