On the first load, when nothing is in memory, it's slow for me as well. Opening it after it has first been opened is faster, however.

Wrong? He's correct, it doesn't minimize. I can imagine that being quite annoying as well. Imagine trying to get to your desktop and not be able to due to it being in the way. Oh... "Show Desktop" works, but that's inconvenient.
