Yes, but how exactly did you conquer? If you mean you killed every member who did not surrender once, and those killed (as well as those who surrendered) kept out of the ongoign battle, I'd agree. Otherwise, if players would enter the fight again and again, I'd say no kingdom could ever win against any of the others.
The point is, in a war about, say, a fort, you could make it so killed players can't walk near it while the battle lasts. And most would agree on the rp-aspect and keep away from it. If the whole main island was made such a fort though, then one kingdom would controle all the shops, the mines, the altars and so on, so you will either get people coming after they respawn, or they switch to any ruling kingdom if allowed, to be able to access the main rescources.
I for one would prefer forts on every kingdom island, maybe with points awarded for each our a kingdom can hold an enemy fort without disturbance. After all, forts have been announced months ago...
