Anyways, I believe what he wants is the abilty to GET masses and such, but if too many people just message "'Selling..', 'join my guild...', 'I pwned...', etc." he can just *ZAP*, rather than just open/close them all... to ignore them, would shut off the normal conversation also, not just the crap that nobody wants to hear...
I think it's one of those features, that isnt needed, but should be there anyway, for convenience.

Actually, he meant the "option" (like ignore), to remove the PM ones he didnt read after a few moments, the only way this could be a problem with missing important information would be if he went AFK.
