im just telling you how i solved a problem, it may sound silly and probably the improper way but thats how i did it...this is what i did

i made a copy of the gmap lvl.....i then altered the file type of the copy as a .nw file instead of .gmap. Then i removed the .gmap lvl from the server and uploaded the new .nw file, and viola!.

thats how it worked for me.
