actually, i have personally removed gmaps from a server because of some problems so it had to be removed. Mostly because it had a lot of glitches and the links glitches from one level to another. So i simply renamed the files and deleted the gmaps, then updated the levels and they connected properly and the glitching problems didnt work. After you have succesfully removed the gmaps, if you dont wanna use any gmaps on the server you can update the folderconfigurations and remove
(example:
level gmaps/*.gmap
file gmaps/*.gmap)
in that case, the file will not be able to be uploaded to the server, but that is not neccesary when removing gmaps. Just try what i suggested, if theres another way that someone else knows then say it, but im just suggesting something that ive actually done.
