It's completely unethical, yes. Something should be able to be done about this, but at this point in time I do believe that it's impossible. There should be some kinda provision in the new rules about "using people" for certain things - i.e. hiring them merely to get a certain thing done, or to have them submit a certain set of graphics/levels/whatnot, and then immediately firing them (that is, of course, without telling them of this plan beforehand). The problem, though, is that this is tricky to define, and because of that would probably never make it to the rules.
I guess I'm still somewhat idealistic.
