War machines would be good, if forts are added, craftable with iron, wood and logs, giving protedtion to those pushing it forward, maybe with the ability to use a ram to take down the enemy's walls at some places, or enabling players to overcome them - ladders or these mentioned large siege towers. They wouldn't require an industrial revolution either, which I think wouldn't fit kingdoms at all, and would not improve the game... |
