Uh okay, how did they leave their work behind exactly? Were they supposed to visit everyone's house and tell them to remove stolen nw files from their computer? I doubt that would work very well.
I can understand why he is bitter. It's incredibly insulting to just take somebodies work, claim ownership to it, and then use it to continue a project they are no longer part of. If I ever leave Graal and Oasis is public, I will be extremely pissed at anyone trying to revive it or keep it going.
A project isn't just graphics levels and scripts. It's the minds of the staff that put it together. If you handed some retard all of nw's files, and told them to revive nw, it would be horrendous. I don't think anyone can do the nw project other than the nw staff.
It's even more disgraceful, because everyone that would take part in the reviving of nw, would obviously have no skills whatsoever, or they wouldn't be needing to use old projects to create their content. I say, why not just make your own NEW playerworld if you think you could do it so well. Why take other people's work when you can make your own?
To be perfectly honest, New World wasn't that great. Especially compared to what Graal can do now. Most of the graphics were just horrible, with no detail or artistic style whatsoever. The only thing that set it apart from playerworlds today, was that it had tileset layers, so that tiles could overlap the player, which Stefan said wasn't all that great in the first place, because it was slow.
So nw was first with custom bodies and tilesets... That doesn't mean it's the greatest Graal project ever. It's old hat now.
