If you use common sense, you should know that single brackets "(" and ")" are used to express other points, feelings, information and things of the like, within a sentence. This can be done while roleplaying.
For example:
"Yes, it was but a windy night (though there was no rain) and I had to suffer through it."
That sentence is played in character. Other examples can be found in virtually any piece of literature.
The double brackets "((" and "))" are used to signify Out-of-character messages, for the reasons stated above. |
