few other thoughts:
1) Toran did do more than call someone a bi*** regarding sexual harrasment. You know what you did, you can play non-cholant etc, I don't care. You forget too, that
getting another chance is not getting the slate wiped clean.
You say I harrassed you: You came where we were and harrassed us, insulted us, and wouldn't go, I retorted, and when you couldn't take it, and asked me to stop, I said fine, just leave us alone. You wanted Wren to bless your dagger or whatever, even though you know she wouldn't.
I told you time after time, act with a little respect, and I'd stop bugging you. Or not, and just leave us alone.
You followed us and wouldn't leave, I hardly call retorting and asking you to leave harrasement though.
I still have to laugh that you reported me to Jagen though.
other thoughts:
2) calling someone a f*g is as bad as calling someone a dirty jew or a nig**r.
3) if you say a word, that means more than one thing, but
obviously intend it as a slur then it's a slur.
4) When someone reports a problem, a full report should be taken then, and they shouldn't be bugged after that. No one reporting something should given flak for reporting something.
If someone else needs to talk to whomever reported it, I would surely hope it should be a
paid professional staffer.
5) I doubt anU meant it as a sexual slir, but it was one. High school kids use it all the time just to get a rise out of each other, since they are all so insecure that they will ever get a gf anyways.
If it was me, I would not ban him, but it's not up to me.
6) You can be banned for breaking the agreement, you can get a speeding ticket for going to fast. If a cop gives the last guy a warning and you a ticket, you can't throw that in his face. Equal enforcement is important though, but I think it was in this case.
7) Don't push the limits, trying to find every way to harrass someone within the letter of the law, you'll end up loosing.
8) I don't think staff have an easy job, it looks like they have little guidance on this.
9) There should be a 3 day, 7 day, 21 day and 60 day ban options, plus full ban.
It's as if irl we only gave life sentences for any crime, and had a completely messed up appeals process too due to the severity of the punishment. Some would be punished unfairly and others would get away with near-murder.
basically, how to act in graal is simple:
imagine you are in a public mall, and mall security is both within view and earshot.
whatever would get you kicked out of the mall, should get you kicked out of graal.
It's common sense, this is a public area, just act like it.
