There are 2 ways people can scam on the tables:

1) they drop the item in front of them, so the other person thinks its on the table (but it's not). then they accept, and pick their item off the ground.

2) i've seen people put a ring icon on the table as if it were a spell or something, and it tricks people that way. (but you should always right-click the items before you accept anyway).

Taulbee tried this on me once, but i didn't trade.
