Seriously guys, there are so many different and unique ways to do a modern playerworld. You don't need guns and gangs and keycode entries to have a modern playerworld.

Just the tileset style alone could be totally different. For one, you could have a more city like atmosphere, where buildings aren't spaced out as much, and they are tall, and there is barely any grass. Or you could have a more realistic look, or even a highly cartoony style. Why go and clone Era? Just because it gets players? Big deal. It gets players because it's the only server on the playerworld list right now that has a unique tileset and idea.

Copying it isn't going to give you players, it's just repeating the pattern that playerworlds started from. Like everyone started making the default tileset style, with a medieval/fantasy setting, and that's what all the playerworlds were. Now Era shows a new style, and you all have to copy it? It's ridiculous.

Personally, I'd like to see a modern type world, with a fantasy setting thrown in. Like all the modern technologies of today, with a twist. Just for example, POKEMON. See, it's modern and all, but they threw in pokemon, giving it a unique twist on modern life. Do something like that (no not pokemon, just something modern yet different) and you will get plenty of players.

I agree with you like 90% ^_^. People have an issue with being origanal.
